Since 2022 I’ve been the lead producer of Roughly Staged, a pay-what-you-want scratch night dedicated to supporting and developing new theatre writing in Glasgow. We have put on three sold-out nights so far, with a fourth coming later this year.
Roughly Staged brings people together to try out, discuss, encourage and develop new plays and musicals by playwrights, composers and performers living in Scotland.
We read every script sent to us, and we especially try to support working class and LGBT artists.
